And of you referring to Doyley and his great scores -- you realize that we have tournament marshals on staff that are regular players that verify his rounds as well. Just so you know. And in the vein, the "marshalls" who review (on their own time) are volunteers. I am sure the league would be willing to accept you as a marshall if you wish. They have been inclusive in that regard.

JohnEric - I have followed your posts on this website and also on the HB forums since back in the beta days. While you do seem like a decent dude you are WAY off base here.
The creators and admins of this tour bust their butts in their limited spare time to create and run this tour/website and you question their ethics because some of the people running it shoot low scores and because you want to be able to chip on the greens?? Really?!?!
Play a few of the tournaments and get into the spirit and camaraderie of the competition. I think after a little more thought you may be inclined to offer apologies to a few folks.....

Well said, to be honest I think he has been very disrespectful and we don't need somebody with that attitude on this tour

using Sand Wedge glitches that enable them extreme distances when de-lofted as opposed to using the proper club by golf standards. Is this a real thing?

At the end of the day, I'm not attacking anyone in particular.. I just go on what I see, and for the record, I harbor no ill feelings at all...
But you guys are right, I most definitely don't belong on this tour and will never regret that choice. It's not that I see it as a less than stellar effort, I just see that it's not for me or my style.I guess at the end of the day I'm more of an arcade first golfer.. I hope the numbers stay up for TGCtours because I know just how hard everyone involved has worked on it and I can respect that even though I'm not a fan how things have unfolded.
It's all good, I wish you luck.

Each to their own I say, arcade golf is not for me but some people love it

Yeah, and how is it done? ;-) I think someone said you can hit long distances of say 170 yds out of heavy rough by playing low loft on a sandwedge

We were very lenient with chipping on the green for 3 weeks or more. But when people are chipping on the green from 15-20 feet away just to avoid having to read the break and putt it, that is gaming the system and removes the integrity and spirit of the rule. We had to take a brightline stance. Nothing more, nothing less. Every rule we implement has to be "policable" or else it's just hot air. So there you have it. Then why not simply ban chipping from that distance?

The origination of this thread disappoints me, and is the antithesis of good sportsmanship and the belief of innocent until proven guilty, masked in a passive/aggressive rant of an accusing nature. Translation: Like you, I'm not saying you were saying something, but you were really saying something, and I think you need to go take a walk. Where I come from, we call this "biting the hand that feeds you". So...Tim, Doyley and the boys spend countless hours away from their families, put a labor of love (which all online leagues are, as a Commish of 15 years of experience can attest) together for the enjoyment of a thousand, and you decide this is the perfect time to say there's a case of "God Complex" amongst the staff, and they will lie, cheat, steal, rape the horses and ride off on the women?? Like you, I'm not going to say what I really mean, but say what I really mean both off and on the record. My off the record stance is: "Pathetic, Shameful, as Ridiculous as DeflateGate" But my official on the record stance of this is summed up in two pics:

But my official on the record stance of this is summed up in two pics: It's funny that you posted this, because through all of the stuff I read today, "this is why we can't have nice things" definitely went through my head a few times.
