How good/bad is it?

Its the best game since Breath of the Wild. Some Resident Evil 4/Dark Souls kinda vibes. Brutal, beautiful and the combat is ridiculously good. Its one of the few games I've played where, when I'm not playing it, I constantly think about it. Looks stunning on the Pro too (this isn't 4k):  |

Is that really necessary to have an idea of the story of that new game?
Or can you play it regardless if you've never touched any of the older parts?

Just buy and play it. I've played them all but can't remember any of the plot, if needs be just watch a plot catch up on youtube.
Its hard to put into words just how good it is. This is why we play videogames.

Ok I’m completely new to this game, never played it and saw it’s on sale after reading reviews it sounds great, anyone here played it at all ? Looking for opinions good and bad
