**I'm currently in web.com tour** I am likely to finish in the top 10, possibly top 5, in the Tim Hortons Canada Challenge. I assume given what I've read in here that I will be given an exemption or promoted to a pro tour. Given that registration is closed for next week's events does that mean I will have to sit out a week?

Exemption is good for the following week. The reason, as I understand it, is your exemption gets officially awarded once the 'current' tournament is closed, and thus when you find out the next tournament has already commenced. I earned one in W02, found out on the Monday once the tournament finished. Was able to use it for W04. You don't have to sit out... you can play in web.com for the 'between' week. So I played W02 champions, earned the exemption. Played W03 champions, and registered for W04 web.com And in W04 I will be playing in the web.com tournament.

It's built into the system that when cuts are processed and you make a pro tournament cut using your exemption you will be auto-enrolled into the next week's pro tournament.
