In the first leg of the DCS we kept things very general as far as results, meaning we "grouped" scores instead of giving the literal scores.
Do you guys want me to do it that way again this time around or do you want to see the literal scoring with a definitive placing whether it be first, last, or somewhere in between? I only pose this because this is going to be very tight scoring top to bottom. I'm going to forewarn everybody that there will be some VERY good courses that don't make the top 10 in this. This is without a doubt the deepest pool of courses as far as quality is concerned I have seen in a contest thus far. You guys have done an AMAZING job with these. The schedulers should be very, very happy with this one.
That being said, your choices are:
1. I want to see exactly what the scores are, and if I finish last then I won't be a baby about it.
2. I would rather have course results released in non-specified order in their result "group" as there is no point in somebody feeling bad or discouraged about what they published.

I don't give a @!$# about my score or my position. I keep entering these contests because IMO your reviews are the most constructive way of providing feedback I've found in this community. Some other guys play the courses and share their thoughts, but the depth of your disections, for me, is amazing. I watch every single review you make, not only of my courses, but of all of them. Obviously, I want to end up being as high as possible, but that's not the main goal of my participation, but just in case, I voted

I think exact scores will help designers most, as it gives a chance to see what areas are in most need of improvement. I don't want to speak for the rookies, but that info is good for me to know...and in the end it will help with transparency as to why each course finished where.

I'm good with whatever (#1?) gets me the most data and information to help on future courses.

I don't need to see exact scores, as a numeric score of "Your bunkers are a 3 out of 5" doesn't really help. I don't care how the results are presented, either.
What I want - and why I like participating - is the specific, "this looks good, but doing this would make it awesome," and the "this didn't really work here because..." that we get from the critique and review streams.
I'm interested in knowing what other people thought of my ideas, and what they might have done differently to make the design just that much better.
However that gets communicated is what I want.
I expect scoring to be tight, and if I finish in last, so be it.

Yes, I’d rather hear all the comments. Score isn’t a big deal.

I ran one comp gave out full scores first to last and had no backlash.
Also I don’t care if I’m last and honestly no one should leaving someone thinking there course was good when it’s dirt is pointless as they won’t improve sufficiently to get courses on tour and that’s everybody’s goal well it should be although my goal is to design fun courses that annoy griff 😂.
Anyway if I finished last then next comp 3rd last I’d be happy

I agree with Pablo and Patrick. I enter these things to learn from the best, and learn how I can improve. My goal in the contests is to have a course that can be played a lot and enjoyed. I think even the last place finishers in this contest can have that.

Yeah big thing for me isn’t the scores, it’s the reasoning behind the score. Still, I voted for option one because I’m not a snowflake...

Only just saw this thread.
Option 1 without a doubt.
This is my first course and if it makes everyone comfortable make me last and give me feedback on how to not be last next time.
Won’t upset me one bit. I throughly enjoyed making my course and I know for sure I have learnt a lot for next time.
Bring on real scores.

Too late to vote (damn WTZ) but it would have been option 1 (full exact score).
