So far we have almost 90 members have setup donations! That's awesome. With that being said, we are also working on a way to show a "goal" progress bar on the main site, with a link to a page so we can be transparent on what your donations are currently going toward and what they will go to based on certain goals! Reddit does this exact thing, and it's obviously worked for them. Sharing with the community and be completely transparent with how and where we want to spend your gracious donations will only make it better for all. Thanks again to all that have supported the site already!

I think it’s time for another update, don’t you? How many donors are we at in total? How much in one-off donations, and how much monthly payments coming in?
I’ve happily donated, but I think it’s very important that TGCT provides regular updates on the fund-raising - from the standpoint of awareness, and of course maintaining transparency.

We have 130 members who have agreed to contribute monthly totaling $627.00 per month.
Additionally, we've received $1,739.00 in one-time donations.
Our monthly expenses include:
Server costs - $315
Forums - $81
Email (AuthSMTP/Mailchimp) - $85
Freshdesk (tickets) - $20
So as of right now, our monthly fixed costs are covered for the first time thanks to this latest push of donations. I think we can all agree that Tim has gone out of his way by covering the void for nearly 4 years.
We occasionally hire .Net developer help for Tim during the busiest times (like the change of seasons when things are restructured or when a new game comes out). We'd like to be able to hire a dev more frequently to help clear the list of updates and bugs and add new features. Surplus donations will help with that.
