On my last 2 courses and my current course I have a problem with laying a fairway. What I always do is spline the fairway frame then spline the light rough then fill out the fairway with a round brush. But once on each course there is a strip of land that the fairway brush doesn't cover regardless of how many times I go over it.
What I normally do is just put cover the area with splines as they seem to work where the brush doesn't. Is this a problem that happens with anyone else and if so do you resolve it differently?

Bring out one of the red brushes and raise that strip of land up fairway should appear once it’s above the water table it’s a glitch I run into alot

Bring out one of the red brushes and raise that strip of land up fairway should appear once it’s above the water table it’s a glitch I run into alot To expand on this slightly, first you'll want to run the blue brush over the area until it looks about how you want it, then raise the area with the red one. The changes made by the blue one override the changes made by the red one, so it'll stay flat after you run the red one over it.

Cheers I'll try it out, it'll save me running a spline round it. I never use the red brush because I've seen a few comments about how it's harder to use. But I'll use it on this and maybe start looking at using them.

The red brush works much the same way as the blue brush, except that it only affects terrain not already sculpted with the Blue brush.
It can be confusing, but try visualizing two layers of terrain - one is the base terrain (the Red layer) and the other is modified terrain (the Blue layer). Once you sculpt with the Blue brush, the blue layer takes precedence.
However, the if the Red layer is below 0 ft elevation (known as the water table), then you cannot lay a fairway or green surface. This may seem like a glitch, but it has it practical applications and can be very useful.

I have a fairway problem myself. Playing thru my latest beta I keep getting little patches of heavy rough stopping my ball as it's rolling down the fairway but there's no visible rough in sight. Strange one
