When you hook or slice the ball, does the game give any indication if you missed "being inside the cone" because of your backswing or because of your downswing?
I have a problem pushing/slicing the ball but i cant tell if i am off when it comes to my backswing or downswing.

It's the downswing. If you hit perfect/perfect, but you are a little off center it will fade or draw the ball. If you are slow or fast on downswing it will go into slice/hook mode. For the most part your backswing will only effect distance control.

Nothing in this game has been published, and most people really don’t discuss yardage and wind distance because they spend so much time on there own learning these things. As far as my post it is my understanding based on my play. Examples: you hit P/s. The ball will slice for me. P/f the ball will hook. If I hit s/p it will go straight but I lose about 5 yards distance. If you hit p/p and you are in the cone but close to out on the right side it will fade approx 5 yards. These example are based on my experience and my set up, I forgot if I’m inverted or not, but it’s the same logic the opposite ways. Hope this helps!

I can confirm that experiences (from hundreds of rounds played).

Yup! what Robert and Thomas said, same conclusions here.

Guys above are right on. The only thing I can add is the uncanny increased likelihood of a fast downswing when there's water on the left! :-)
