I'm a PS4 PLAYER and my buddy is new to TGC2 course designer. He is watching all sorts of videos but MOST of the time people doing tutorials are too advanced for new people. They go through the tools so fast he can not find what they are using . . . . . For instance - he can not find the multi-select tool for PC (or XBox controller) so he asked me to ask you. Where is this tool?

You have to hover over and object to get that option to pop up. If you select “multi-select” when hovering, you’ll be able to choose from several options such as area delete or select.

With mouse or controller or both? Are there other hover/tricky things he is missing? I think he has watched a thousand videos but just finding control which controls is a newbie issue. Took him forever to figure out how to expand an area. Of course me being on a PS4 telling him to hit the "X" and not knowing Xbox has a DIFFERENT "X" didn't help LOL

Tbh it’s kind of hard to explain without actually showing him.

He's welcome to pop in my Twitch stream anytime and ask all the questions he wants (https://www.twitch.tv/antonioscarpacci)
Or just write them all down and I'll go through them 1 at a time and upload it to YouTube. I think it would be a lot easier and helpful if he was there to ask though if our schedules were to somehow line up.

Thanks Jacob - I can do it EASY on the PS4 - surprised he could not figure THAT out. We're in different city's so hands on is tough.

You have to hover over a surface that is not a spline. Not the base texture, and not an object like a tree or house. It has to be a bunker or fairway, or a water object. This is a great way to find dropped shapes so you can delete or move them. Sometimes it's really tough to hover over a shape and be able to select it.
