Hi guys, hope you are all doing great!
I have tried many different controller/hand positions and can't seem to find a way to produce consistent shots (not after perfect)
I'm not too worried if they are offline, just not wild.
Also tempo is very annoying sometimes. What feels like the same swing will produce a different results and an off tempo swing can come out of nowhere too.
From what i have heard the PC suffers from tempo problems more than most (maybe just me)
Sorry if you have all heard this before but i have not played the game as much as others.

Make sure frame rate is consistent.

Start by measuring the framerate. Steam has the function to display it in the top left corner of the screen. Steady 60 or higher is the way to go.

Hey,
I just read your post in the CC-A and thought I would add my 2 cents.
I can confirm that frame rate is an issue when it comes to inconsistent downswings. In my case, when the frame rate drops, I get very slow downswings. However, this usually happens in the beginning of a hole, and when I wait a little, frame rate catches up and I can swing normally.
Apart from that, have you considered using your mouse instead of a controller?

I don't know man. I've dropped my graphics settings to get a solid 100FPS and still cant swing anywhere near what I was a month ago. Nothing else has changed in that time, so I'm starting to think it's my controller, which is fairly new (XBOX One wired). Maybe it's worn out or something. I'm going to switch to my ps4 controller and see if that helps. Haven't has any issues since the game came out, but the last few weeks have been a nightmare. Pretty lame if I need to get a new controller every 6 months.

I use Process Lasso to hold my game at 60 FPS and rarely ever have a problem. Also, I bring the club back "Mike Weir Style," allow it to reset, and then swing. This prevents that takeaway stick that can plague PC users.

I switched over to my PS4 controller and have much better swing results. Guess it was the Xbox One controller this whole time. Man those things wear out fast! Hopefully the PS4 controller last longer. Weird thing is the game still shows the Xbox control buttons. I switch the settings in steam, but is there a setting in the game I need to change? I thought it would just recognize the controller.
