When your view from behind the golfer is impeded by plants, trees, or rocks especially around the green is there an alternative way of viewing the golfer ( eg side view ) and take the shot? I am sure in TGC1 there was a button sequence on the controller that allows a shot to be taken with a side view. Any ideas please, thanks in anticipation.

Don't think there is a side view, but you can scroll through the various cameras with L3 to see if one of them is better than the default

Don't think there is a side view, but you can scroll through the various cameras with L3 to see if one of them is better than the default There actually is a way to do this. If you go into scout cam mode, then hit the button to swap between the pre-set camera angles (right bumper for me...I think) and get to the one where the camera is looking at your golfer from a sideways angle. You can move the camera around, but it's anchored/locked into a specific distance (kind of zooms in when you go low to the ground, but it's not the free-roam cam). Hopefully you know which camera I'm talking about... Anyway, once your in that view you can hit A/X (look at the icons in the bottom right of your screen) and "unlock" the swing, meaning it allows you to play your shot from that point of view. It's pretty damn challenging, but when you get into spots that have literally zero visibility of your players, it's better than nothing.
