NOTE: Please do not post on rounds that have not been revealed on the leaderboard. Moderating is in effect and they will be removed. Please use the Locker Room threads to discuss rounds not revealed. Thanks! The Press Tent will be a feature on TGC Tours where you can come in after a round or tournament and answer some questions from the press. You can let off some steam or tell about some great (or not so great) shots. Some of your answers will be used in Tournament recaps. Have fun, keep it clean! Questions (answer as many or as few as you like) - What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
- What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
- What did you think of the course?
- How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
- Ask your own question and answer it!

What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
No real highlights, just a normal round for me. It played tougher today because of really brisk winds.
What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
A double bogey and several missed putts that I thought I had made.
What did you think of the course?
I think it can be a hard driving course if the winds are up due to tight fairways. The 13th hole and the "abyss" in the front of the green can be devastating.
Not trying to beat anyone in particular but everyone in general. I feel like I will be on the cut line as always.
Good luck the rest of the way to everyone!

NEWS ANCHOR JIM DUNCANSON: Having just come off his fourth round at Briar Hill, intrepid reporter Myles Richmond managed to catch up with Canadian golfer, Tom Baker in the press tent to ask a few questions. Over to you Myles!
MYLES (on location at Briar Hill): Hello Tom, do you have a few moments for some questions?
TOM: (sipping a large coffee one milk and eating a Canadian maple) Sure Myles!
MYLES: I can see from the leaderboard that you shot a 70 in Round 1. Can you let our viewers know how you fared in Rounds 2-4.
TOM: Well Myles, you know all about the gag order on us, you will just have to wait and see.
MYLES: Ok ok. Can you at least tell us about any highlights from your round(s)?
TOM: Well there are bogies, pars, birdied available to be made on Briar Hill. Nothing leaps out in particular that I can speak about at the present time but I can tell you that practice has paid off. Additionally, I was really able to bomb some drives today. All the supplements from Prescott Pharmaceuticals have really paid off.
MYLES: Any lowlights that come to mind that you can share?
TOM: Well, I am sure that your viewers picked up that most of us on tour have been given new putters from HBS to use. It took a bit of time to get used to, let's just leave it at that.
MYLES: So how were your scores on Rounds 2-4?
TOM: Myles, clean out your ears!! I can't comment on that right now.
MYLES: Oh yah, right, sorry. What were your overall impressions of the course?
TOM: Loved the serpentine bunkers. Liked the elevated tees too, made me look like the Bionic Man on some of the drives. Overall, a good challenge but manageable if your know how to work the winds and your club distances. Some shots required shaping but overall a nice little course. You gonna eat that last Canadian Maple Myles?
MYLES: No, it's all yours.
TOM: Thanks.
MYLES: What were your goals coming into the tournament?
TOM: As a Canadian, I felt extreme pressure to perform at an event sponsored by what amounts to be our national symbol. Aside from wanting to make the cut, my hope was to catch the eye of the good people over at Tim Horton's in order to hopefully gain their sponsorship or at the very least, have them name a donut after me: The Canuck Hoser! A donut filled with caramel and double smoked bacon covered in a maple glaze!!
MYLES: That sounds....ummmm.....errrr....delicious??!!!
TOM: It's a Canadian thing Myles, you just wouldn't understand.
MYLES: Well, on that note, thanks for your time Tom and all the best in this and your upcoming tournaments
TOM: No worries Myles.
MYLES: This has been Myles Richmond for W-KUJO. Back to you Jim.

What was the highlight of your round/tournament? Finishing under par
What was the low-light of your round/tournament? Wind, Water, Sand, Missed Putts
What did you think of the course? Really? course has a severe Fairway shortage!
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat? As I already said, I finished under par, which was a huge leap from the last tournament with a start of 20 over! Who am I trying to beat ... anyone over 100th place by the end of round 2, so far it's not looking promising.
How do you feel about the addition of the Second Chance Q-School Qualifiers! The decision was made, and they're here --- regardless of my feelings on it.

What was the highlight of your round/tournament? Eagle on 14. The putt was huge because I had two putts earlier in the round that I should've made and didn't. What was the low-light of your round/tournament? Leaving a putt on the edge on 1 and powering through the cup on 5 when I had a great approach to 5 feet. What did you think of the course? It's decent. The fairways vary from football field size landing zones to trying to land one on a two lane road. How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat? T1 at 12 under at the moment. I hit a 12 under in practice but my goal was 8 under at worst 10 under at best, so I'm pretty excited with the results.

Happy to be up among the big boys of the web.com this week on a sponsors exemption and hoping I can perform well enough to stay a while.
Nervous as all hell on the first tee, but the winds were (comparatively) kind and I settled into a fairly decent rhythm. A few wayward tee shots had me playing from rough/sand and scrambling for par which I got all bar 1 time. The putter worked reasonably well and I came home in 68 (-5)
I'll take that first time out

What was the highlight of your Visit to the HB Studios Headquarters?
Let's just say: There won't be anymore “putting patches” any time soon!!! Know what I'm sayin'? What was the lowlight of your Visit to the HB Studios Headquarters?
That HB_Lorin is actually a male... Stupid dinner reservation..... I wore cologne and a tie too man.... I mean, c'mon... who names their Son – Lorin? Awwww! Jeeeeez! I just remembered; I sent flowers.... So, the third challenge on this tour... how's it going?
Well... after walking off the 18th with a 69 on my card, I was forced to play back to back rounds by some jumped up little steward named Dee Doggy or somethin' like that.... guy thinks he invented the game... where do they find these bozo's? Said I was “deliberately slow playing....... waiting for favourable winds.” So, after telling him to keep his walrus moustache on, I went straight back out & flew round in gale force winds to add a 68 to my score for a 9 under through 36..... He was absolutely fuming when I gave him the Sam stare & shouted: “In your face, Wilford Brimley.” Heh! Heh! Nine under? Will that make the cut?
Gonna be close I reckon..... Lotta guys on this tour improving week to week... Top 120 isn't it? Sheesh! I hope so..... I need additional funds... that Nina Nilson is pretty high maintenance, I can tell you!! We caught up with the steward in question for his side of the story, but he refused to comment: "No Comment."

Outside the VIP entrance at Briar Hill.
plomp.......plomp........plomp
I'd not throw pebbles into the koi pond if I were you. The tour commissioner gets wind of this and you'll be in a world of pain. I've heard koi fish turn purple if they get stressed out.
plomp... pffft, they can do with a bit of colour plomp....
Tough time on the course?
plomp.... Yup. Both past two tourneys. plomp......Missing both cuts by such a margin the scorers had to print a separate page just to add me in. plomp
What went wrong?
plomp. 2 o' clock, 10 o' clock, 58%, 63%, life is like a box of my golf swings, you never know what you gonna get!
picks up a loose paving brick - flings it toward the urinating angel hitting it squarely in the chest, TWACK, teetering, tottering, SPLASH. Mini tidal wave, kois flapping for air.
Someones bound to hear this, we gotta run!
runs and ducks into the green keeper's hut, narrowly avoiding been seen by the torch-and-mace bearing security guard
Weeeee! Most fun I've had for the past 2 weeks!

Dave Wilks trugs off after round 2, looks li I e he's had a bad time
Hi Dave, how you get on
"#@#*# hole 13, I hate it"
What happened?
"Shanked my 2nd shots on both rounds, & ended up in the unplayable ravine taking 11 on both rounds?"
Apart from that, how was it?
"The WIND was a bit blowy, around 13-18 mph, but decided to go for it. Didn't want the deputy to get me. I was disappointed, after my practice rounds gave me hope of making the cut, but wasn't to be"
So what now?
"Practice my chipping :-)"

I quit in 2nd round with a unplayable lie with no way out. Frustrating. I actually had the same thing happen to me on the 18th of my 2nd round. I think I was -7 or so and didn't finish cause I would have been -2 or whatever after 2 rounds due to my unplayable shot.. Awesome..
