I like the idea of changing pins also. Maybe you can notify the designers a few weeks to a month in advance of the course announcemnts so they have time to set pin and tee locations and they can get approved. What I've been doing lately when making greens is using the "Place Flag" function and setting the pin in areas I'd likely use to make sure it will be smooth in that spot and a few feet around it (especially on large greens where the grid doesn't cover everything). Then I'll draw a postage stamp size picture of the green in a notebook and put 4 different symbols on it for the different days. Takes less than half an hour, but saves a ton of time than if youve published without checking and then have to figure out where a flag could go after the fact.

Ideally when a course is created ou should be able to indicate where all the pin placements could be (i.e from 1-6 places) and the pins would alternate between the locations between rounds... obviously this would be hard to implement with ghost balls, people gaming it by playing easy pins only etc,
Some very nice courses I have had the pleasure to play at will have a green split into 4 quadrants, marked A,B,C,D illustrated in the golf cart... they will also tell you which quadrant the course is playing in that day i.e all Pins are in quadrant A on on greens, allowing you an idea from the tee where you want to play your tee shot to give best attacking view of pin.
I persoanlly can not see them getting around this snag, so maybe multiple versions of the same course (differing Pin and Tee locations) is the only way to ove forward.

Guys I want to compliment you on the use of different pin placements in the 3rd and 4th rounds. I think this is a feature that must stay on all tours. The 3rd and 4th round pin placements should be more difficult than the 1st 2 rounds.

I really liked the added difficulty in the final 2 rounds. My only complaint would be the drastic change in difficulty from the 1st 2 rounds to the last 2 rounds. I feel only different tee boxes and pins should be used. The added firmness and green speed made it feel like a completely different course.
But I'll add, I'm am 100% in favor of tougher conditions. In my ideal world, there should maybe be 1 guy over the 4 rounds who scores in the 50s for 1 of his rounds.
I'm also 100% in favor of the different pins, really enjoyed the difference. Would be awesome if eventually we could get 4 rounds of different pins and tees. A big thumbs up on this change, thanks
