Is it possible to re-instate the auto-generated vegetation by "removing" the clear generated objects brush?
I've removed some auto-gen vegetation on a area of the plot I'm happy to be auto-gen. I'd like to put it back to auto-gen so I don't waste objects here but can't find a way to select my clear brush.

Edit holes like you would if you were removing any other surface, and you should be able to select the "brush" that cleared generated trees/objects and delete it.

I can't seem to get a brush to show up though.

If the brush isn’t showing up, it may be tough to do so without messing up the area around it. In places away from surfaces, go to edit holes, pull up the multi-select menu (you may need to highlight a placed object to get it to show up), and use the area delete tool to get rid of the “clear terrain” brushes. Near surfaces, you can do the same thing, but you should be really careful as that area delete tool will erase surfaces as well.
