Could someone pls answer me if the wind conditions on any course change from round to round or (real-time) day to day? And what if I start a round and take a break during the round. Are the conditions from the beginning of the round locked in or could they be totally different when I continue? The reason I ask is that I wanted to start my Q-School today. Before that I played a training round on Mt. Yeti with the worst wind conditions I have ever experienced(wind sometimes more than 20). Although I have played maybe the best round of my career (-6) I did not want to start my career in these conditions.
Thx for your help.
Alexander

Waiting for the wind to die down is a contentious issue for some. But it will not be brought up here because your question has been answered.

Waiting for the wind to die down is a contentious issue for some. But it will not be brought up here because your question has been answered. Imho the wind should be nearly the same for all players. But I would not argue with you if I had a wind with approx. 10 Mi/h and not 20.
But in the end I should have taken the 20 miles/h wind and the 6 under par round. I had far better wind conditions today and played a pretty disappointing 72 .

Wish I could say that too. When the wind goes above 15 m/h, I'm really getting problems holding my score(s) low.

If the winds are high, I feel lucky to walk off 18 @ even par.

Obviously a most improbable eagle from 100yds from deep in the bushes and (i guess) two chip-ins help a lot Feel free to search for my ghost. Btw.: I just found out it was only a 5 under par round. Forgot about the (only) bogey at the end.
