Okay, so I registered at TGC Tours and here, registered for Q-School, joined the TGC-Pro society and just played round 1 but it does not feel like I am doing Q-School. There is no atmosphere, no nothing to indicate this is anything other than a tournament. How can I be sure I am actually playing the tournament I am supposed to be in?

If you played CC Pro, you were in the correct place Q School is literally the CC Pro tournament, the admins compare how you did to other CC Pro players to decide which level you should be put in afterwards.

So even though my name in these forums is different to the game name (as in the polayer avatar) - this is set in my profile here though. I don't know, it just feels wrong. A friend played Q-School 2 weeks ago and said there was a tournament atmosphere with crowds & better commentary but playing this now for 2 rounds it looks and sounds identical to a regular "play" round. I am certain those 2 rounds have not counted.......when will I know?

Neil - Q-School scores are on: tgctours.com/Tournament/Qschool/3691 You are listed on there, so you are fine so far. Also - don't worry that others are far ahead - on there you are competing with CC-A players, whereas you will potentially get a different card to that, which will then match your level up better going forward. Not much to look at right now to be fair - but once we get past (I think) tomorrow morning, the cut lines (which will determine what tour you get assigned to) will appear on that leaderboard. The scores will update to include round 2 (tomorrow morning), round 3 (Fri am) and round 4 (Sat am) as we go. Yes - Q-school is kinda boring / no atmosphere, because none of you know anyone / have any rivalries etc. Once you get your card and play a few events, you will recognise names around you regularly on the leaderboard - and (if you use this forum) people on here that you try and beat. Just stick with it for a few weeks EDIT: As for the tournament atmosphere in the game - the crowds are placed there by the course designer, so if he didn't put any in, then no-one sees them (many people on here prefer no crowds, as they are strongly rumoured to cause lag in-game) Commentary - it is different in events to normal 'play' rounds - but it's crap for both!
