My thread probably sounded more harsh than it should have been. I wrote it late after many hours studying and a few drinks. I guess I hardly play with other people for whatever reason. The lobby system of tiger was nice as you could play with live people whenever you wanted. I enjoy the competitive atmosphere of tgctours and look for forward to missing many cuts.

switch it to "turn order enabled" within the game menu while playing a round if you have a live rival there.

I really don't think the lack of a lobby is a major problem in this game as you can meet up to play games through steam on pc if you want to. I play rounds with a real friend on this game every week unfortunately we can't play our tour rounds together because he is on the web.com tour and I am on the champions tour but we play our practice rounds together for the upcoming tournament. I have to say I get much more enjoyment playing the practice rounds with another golfer than the real tournament rounds playing alone. |

Could you not play the course in Play Round whilst your friend plays his tournament round and then he plays the course whilst you play you tournament round? Only the person in that specific tour would show on the in game leaderboard and both of you play at the same time because I think the game would have you both on the course at the same time. |

Just a suggestion but would a new thread not be the answer. Surely posting gamer tags, platform, time zone, meet times etc would encourage social games, just like driving to the local municipal to hang out and see who wants to make up a four ball...
