Hey design community,
If you wouldn't mind helping me out...
I swear that I've seen one of your WIP or completed courses with a graveyard in it. I hope I'm not going crazy. I'm trying to figure out a good way to make a cross or "death memorial" type thing. This is a part of the back story for my course and I think it would be a cool thing to be able to add. But this whole "creative elements" thing is new to me. I don't usually try stuff like this!
If anyone can refer me to a course I could look at for inspiration or just give me a good idea of how to do it I would really appreciate it!
Thanks!

I know Ocean of memories has a cemetery to the right side of one of the greens near the beginning of the back nine if this is of any help.

Thanks! I'll check it out.
I could always make a cross out of rocks with the advanced edit height and just stack a bunch of small rocks til I get the look I want... but Id rather have it look more like wood than stone.

I have a course that hasn’t been started yet but it’s going to have a church as it is related to Christmas. Now while it probably won’t have a cymetery, I can say for the church I’ll probably use the advance edit tool with some wooden fence posts and stairs to create a cross. Just an idea though... I haven’t tried it yet.

Up until now I haven't used advanced edit much so I'm still figuring out capabilities of certain objects. I'll have to play around with it and see what I can get! I'm just sitting here at work waiting to get out so I can go home and try this stuff! Thanks for the reply!

This is what I came up with for my church on my contest course (the Christmas one)... it’s pretty simple, just a retaining wall post and wooden step. I’m sure you could do something similar with darker stone materials for a tombstone.

SAM built a church on Montecito. Maybe he could offer his method.

SAM built a church on Montecito. Maybe he could offer his method. My cross on top of the Montecito church & graveyard was made with 2 of the metal sign posts. Position the first post where you want it using advanced edit & then without moving just rotate the second post to make a cross. I then used the wooden post from the retaining wall items to shroud the rather thin metal post & give it some definition (pic 2).
