Ok, gents...
We've started the judging process (been on it for a minute, actually), and the hope id or me to start doing some streaming on the results this coming Monday night. We will take the average of the judges to determine the final rankings.
The rankings will be totaled as follows:
+5 points for places 6-10
+6 points for 5th place
+7 points for 4th place
+8 points for 3rd place
+9 points for 2nd place
+10 points for 1st place
The reasons for this are 2 fold:
A) I don't see the point in there being a "last place". The 6-10 ranking will be random. Each of you are talented designers, so I don't see the point in pointing out a last place finisher in what I expect to be a very good course regardless.
B) By staggering the points in this matter it insures that nobody is out of the running heading in to the next leg of the competition. This is a marathon, not a sprint...and there will be another leg of this in the near future.
I will create a "standings" thread and pin it once we finish with this leg.
Once again, I apologize for being a bit of an absentee parent during this one, but hoping that real life will allow be to breath going forward. Many thanks for your patience and for the work that went into completing these. Good luck, all!
