Hi, it looks like I’m going to be the unfortunate 2nd place finisher in CCA. Currently tied at -53 4 strokes ahead of second best score of -49. Based on the tiebreaker rules, I see that I will not win...sucks I shot my best tourney ever:(
My question is do I still get a straight Web card for finishing with same score? (Best score) Seems I should? Since my opponent looks to earn the trophy and more points yet we played equal? Or do we both get equal points, trophy but he gets straight Web card?
Just feels a bit wrong to shoot this well and have nothing to show for it!
If someone out shoots us today none of this matters, just questions for all who end up in this situation.
And thanks for running this great site!!!! You guys do a great job, and I love every minute of it!!

Christ, didn't think anybody would catch up to your score Rob! Looking at the info page, in the event of a tie overall score, they go with the 18th hole score of the 4th round, then 17th hole score of 4th round if 18th is a tie etc., until they find a winner. Looks like the other dude pipped you on hole 17 of round 4

The winner only gets a straight promotion and no one else. But remember that you get an exemption to Web, and you can earn exemptions while on exemption. Just play secure enough to make the cut to secure that Web card. If you play well enough you can earn another exemption to Euro just like the winner of CC-A.

Seems a fair rule adjustment in the future, would be that the top score,no matter how many, truly played equal, so should receive equal reward as far as earning a card. As I said before, great site, and thanks for all you do!
