Anyone else struggle with this? How have you conquered the FAST downswing? 3 or 4 times a round its been HAUNTING me! And yes for the comedians out there I know swing slower 😄. Thanks for any input!

I have this to creep into my swing as well, usually on the back side. I wish I had an answer to this for you and me. I take practice swings and still does not help.

Thanks for any input! ln my experience, it is completely dependent on the individual controller. I have 3 version 1, Bluetooth controllers on PS4, 2 of them l can play with great tempo, yet the third one the tempo is awful. Either try the other stick, or a different controller. 😎 |

Got the complete opposite issue. Keep getting slow backswings, especially off the tee, but don’t seem to suffer any effects on distance. Ripping backswing down on stick doesn’t seem to make any difference. Not affecting game, so no biggie - just don’t understand where it’s coming from. Always play with wired controller, so doubt lag’s the issue.

Practice on the driving range with a metronome to fix tempo issues. Start at 67bpm and when at that speed comfy creep up slowly to 69-70bpm (seems to be the sweetspot). Complete your backswing on the first click, complete your downswing on the second click. Try to make the transition between the "1" and the "2" smooth. No flicking forward! I have said it before but turn off the shot feedback. You will be surprised how much better the game is when you stop obsessing over perfect perfect. It brings much more feel into into the game and you learn more about your swing. If you need some work you can just go to the range and work it out like real life.
Give it a try.

As far as I understand the mechanics of this game the downswing has to be faster then the backswing, increasing your backswing a bit might be the answer.
