Best open world experience I've had since Skyrim. Loving every minute of it! And to think, I didn't have this one on my radar because the Assassin's Creed games had worn out their welcome with me. If you are on the fence, you should definitely give it a try.

Not really a fan of the series. But do like very good open world games - Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, Oblivion, GTA, Witcher 3 etc.
I'm also kinda itching to get a game to fill the last four days of my holidays... tempted...

If you liked Witcher 3, you will like this. They borrowed a lot from it. You can see the influence in design. And the world is HUGE and fun to explore. I wasn't even thinking of getting it until I started reading reviews, and I can vouch that if you love the above mentioned games, you will love this one. I love all those games you mentioned as well...Red Dead 2 anyone!!!!! Can't wait for that one!

Assassin's Creed games tend to drop in price quickly after release so if you're on the fence wait a few months and it'll be half the current price. Or in the case of Wal-Mart in the US on Black Friday wait one month after release and it'll be half price. Still sitting on a couple untouched AC games in my backlog, but despite my best intentions I haven't passed on an AC game yet so I'm sure I'll get this one eventually too.
