That's very hard to say when you don't tell us what your budget is. Somebody could recommend a laptop and it end up being twice what you can afford.
Basically though, it's processor and RAM you need. The more of each, the faster the game will run and the more leagues it can handle. Graphics will only affect the quality of the 3D match.

Not played a football manager in years 2024 version is free on the Epic Games Store for PC upto the 12th of this month.You might have to sign up or in at Epic to get it. FM24

Only played it for a Couple of hours FM24 got to say i find it too complicated these days still Got CM 01/02 on my Laptop with updated Squads and after all these years still find it a more enjoyable game to play.
Got to be honest played football referee simulator and really enjoyed that at a bargain price of 87p,that's my sort of game,simple and great value for money and pick up and play.

The new games are sure daunting. However, you can set an assistant manager to do all the boring/complicated tasks you don’t want to do. Saying that, you’ll need a good ass man if you do that. I’m with you on 01/02. I’ve got it too, classic.
