ima tear it up just like i would when i was 18 Yep. Compared to this week's tournament, the Humana Challenge will be about not making any mistakes. I would say it's possible for someone to win the Sony Open while posting a bogey at some point. It's not going to happen playing on Tomahawk. In fact, I will boldly say that, not only will the winner have to play bogey free but they will also have to make at least one eagle per round.

Totally agree! Given what was available at the time, this course is a marvel of creativity and hard work. Up there as one of my favorite desert courses.

I shot 62 yesterday in my first time playing the course in almost 4 months, and I left at least 4 shots out there. The cut might be -18 or -19 for this tournament.

I am betting -16 is the cut line. I played a couple times and this is easily the most straightforward course I have played via TGCTours. The only problems would be not reading a sidehill fairway lie correctly and you can miss a green. Some misses could get you wet. The winner will be the person who takes the fewest putts as there are plenty of benders out there if you don't hit the right side of the cup and sometimes even if you do.
Compared to the Euro Tour course at Powderfinger, I think this course is much easier (for me) as Powderfinger showed me some really odd breaks on the greens. Plus Tomahawk has at least 3 fairly easy eagle par 5's.

Course difficulty is going to vary week to week. This course and Coyote Canyon the following week are going to have some really low numbers, but the courses get progressively tougher next month.

As it should vary. The PGA doesn't play on really hard courses (for pros) every week, and I like that we aren't either.

Course variety is the spice of golf and the only proper way to determine who the best of the best are by seasons end...you must be able to score on all types of situations. Some will shine on the tough courses and others on the easier. The true champions will do so on whatever is thrown at them. Especially looking forward to a no scout cam major event.

Hopefully the overwhelming majority votes by members will help sway the decision towards doing so. Maybe even give it a test try on a regular tournament before committing to a major event.
