This is my 2nd course. It's got a decent amount of sand and some water that comes into play on specific holes, more so on the back 9. I'd say it's probably a medium difficulty, but I'll let you decide, as I've only had the game for about 4 days now.
18 Holes
6,921 yards
Par 72
Countryside Theme
Easy/Medium Difficulty
4/10/4
Looking forward to some feedback so I can improve.

Tried playing it last night but not a fan off firm greens you just can't get balls to stop on

Thanks for the feedback. I did replay it myself, along with my brother and we both noticed the same thing about the greens. I usually just tap LT and up to get a bit of loft to make it sit but I understand what you mean.
* NO it wasn't auto-generated, but I've already learned from mistakes on this course and am applying that to my new course so I don't make the same mistakes.
* I Erased every hole in the beginning like I do every time and work from there, but yea it does have a somewhat generic look on most of the holes.
I appreciate the feedback though, and can say that my next course is already much improved over this, but I won't be publishing it until I think it's worth everyone's time.
Obviously I'm learning, but I already see in playing it again, where most of my mistakes are at.
* I didn't intend to make the greens firm though, so maybe I missed where to set that.

Didn't get through the course. Firmness did me in. Could see some good intentions.
If I can give some advice it would be to play the hole often during designing. Put yourself in different situations and check that it looks and plays good. Play the courses of the highly regarded designers and see what they are doing.
Also, it seems from the info on the forum that building a quality course takes 3-6h - PER HOLE. Quality takes time.

How Exactly do I make the greens softer, or is that just based on the easy/medium/hard difficulty setting ?
* I want to make sure I get my next course right so it's actually worth playing. Fixing the Greens are a must. I only put about 10 hours into it total and I guess it shows.
Thanks again for the feedback though.

* K I want to apologize to those who suffered through Stotch C.C.
* I completely missed the setting where you can alter the firmness/softness and green speeds.
I've since fixed it for a new course I'll be releasing in 1-3 days, I just wanted to get it right before I did that.
So yea My future courses will have much softer greens and will play more like some of the other / better courses out there hopefully.

You must be fast, takes me 1-3 days per hole and my courses suck. As said before take your time.

Been working on it for 3 days, just finished the " Rough Draft" if you will.
It's all complete and then I'm going to play test it for a full round and go back and tweak every hole individually.
Once it plays comparable to some better courses, and I'm satisfied, then I'll release it, but yea I hear you, I tend to have the urge to rush through them quickly, because a new idea is always popping into my head.
* Thanks for the reminder though...I will take my time.
