And, back to earth I plummet -
Round 3: 74(+2) Round 4: 76(+4)
Total: +2
Couldn't handle the headwinds combined with green elevations, and swing consistency wasn't quite all there. Short game let me down.
A disappointing couple of rounds. However, if you'd offered me +2 before I started I'd have bitten your hand off.

Hmm! still a bit (lot) inconsistent but managed sub par 71 in round 2. If I slipped past the edge of the hole once I did it half a dozen times. Shame when you miss by a bit it is often a long putt back for par. Fortune favours the brave so next round I'm going to forcefully ram the putts home rather than trying to roll them in on the slope. May as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb.

I probably would have ended in the +30's or worse, couldn't take the pain so I went to Berckmans Place, where the VIPs frolic, LOL! I'll see ya at Nick Skelton's Seniors.

why where we given strikes in the The Masters Tournament Qualifying didnt think this tournament applied ? From the masters qualifying thread here the following states:
Promotions/Exemption/Demotion Strikes will be handled in the normal way during the Master's Qualifying Tournament, so even if you don't win a spot in The Masters, you are still playing for something. The spots in The Masters is just an extra incentive.

ok just think it was a bit unfair why though? we all played the same course within our flights so it’s the same as coming across a slightly harder course any given week.

As I said, here I am! Back in E! Exemption on masters week probably not the best week to go up!
Good luck all
1st rd -5
Had a lot of birdie opportunities lots of lip outs! Couldn’t get the ball close enough for easy birdies.

R1 (67) left a 15' eagle putt 2" short on 18 but I'll take it. One bad shot on some holes a drive, an approach, a chip, a flop, all add up, R2 tomorrow.

Started off with a decent 64(-8), everything running smoothly, then hit a more disappointing 2nd Round 70(-2) where everything didn't go smoothly at all.
So, -10 after two. Gives me some wiggle room.

Rounds three and four now signed off. Must admit, can't be too unhappy with four under par rounds, but still . . . it should have been so much better.

Well -12 for the tourney, I was -14 then a double on 9 and intermittent chocking after that finished with (71) I may be headed back to my home Planet Z.
