Sweet putt - glad that hole was there - you were dead on. I would have gone under the hole on that shot as I thought you were way above it when it left the club. same. And I kick myself everytime I'm under the hole. Happens all the time.

WELL - now I see whey I have so much trouble on #9. Fairways are 92% - 99% meaning my 245 3W sometimes only goes 225 yards WHICH is not enough to make that cliff with Player Clubs. I had never noticed that before and why I hit 10, 10, 4, and 8 on that hole.
I could not see why I kept coming up short with a 3W Stupid course!

Now it makes sense why I had no idea what you guys were talking about. I made it easily but was on tour clubs. Now I get it.

I hate that F'n hole. In round two I think it was my approach shot was hit p/p, decently straight, but for whatever reason travelled about 70% of regular distance (I was playing from FWY with Tour Clubs), landed on waterside slope and deflected into the drink. Think I bogied/doubled every round. Pretty much an unchallengable green.
Weirdly though, my two best rounds were round 3 + 4 in the wind. Took two rounds to get putting speed dialed in. Playing up on exemption from C-cubed this week. Doubt my -12 total will be good enough to get me through -- unless the carnage of round three is jaw-dropping.

Struggled to a -3 in my final round to leave me at -22 for the tournament. Should see me get my CC-B card which was the goal for this week.

After my bad start 75 (+4) each Rd got better Rd 2 69 (-2), Rd 3 68 (-3) & Rd 4 64 (-7). Not enough to earn a CC-B card. At leased I don't get any red crosses for this week

Week 3: Charles Banks GC
Let's start this week off: Much improved ball striking - but much worse putting - cannot count the number of 6-15' birdie putts I have missed out there. Every putt seemed to break off the planet - except when I then compensated for that and it went dead straight. 67-69-69-70 for -9 Probably at least one more strike this week for me then.

I've normally played all rounds on day 1 but having flooring installed has stopped me in my tracks.
How has it been early on B boys?

Gee just noticed another strike.
Go easy on the adjustments after the official tournament finish times will ya boys. That's 2 weeks in a row I've been 1 up then finished below.

Bit of a Jekyll and Hyde start to my tournament this week with two wildly different front and back nines. Three bogies and two birdies through the first six holes had me thinking it would be one of those rounds but I managed to par the remaining three holes to leave me one over going onto the back nine. I then proceeded to birdie seven of the back nine holes to leave me at -6 after my first round and exactly where I was aiming for scoring wise.
Hopefully my next few rounds the birdies will be more spread out with a few less bogies.

-19 after 3 rounds and should have been more like -25. Not due to bogeys but lipped putts.
It's a nice course and relatively safe.
I like the occasional drive to another holes fairway but this course has about 3 or 4 obvious ones that I'm sure everyone is using.
Winner will be pretty low I'd say about -44

LOL! I crapped the bed last week up in "B" on exemption, and finished 3 below the strike line. I should be back in C-cubed, but instead I got a PROMOTION! WTF?? In any case, I notified Doyley and Goats. Scott said to just play my rounds, and that there's some kind of issue that'll take a few weeks to correct.
So...I'm just a rental for the time being, but managed to shoot an average-ish -5 in R1, having left 3 or 4 balls hanging on the lip during the round. This track will be another "mother" if the winds get whipped up. We'll see what happens here in "B", where everyone's wearing the big-boy pants.

So after two hours of cursing and throwing my controller, I'm finally done with this course. So many putts that lipped out or rolled right on the edge of the cup. Finished -25 but should have had at least 5 more birdies. These greens were very deceptive (except for my back-to-back 38ft and 25 ft birdies WTF??).
Finished 66, 64, 66, 63.
