The only thing I can think of is maybe I didn't make a full swing somehow? I would think perfect/perfect and straight would have turned out better.

I think that there was a slight lag before the top of going back. Seems legit. I've had it happen on a drive that needed to carry around 285 and it went about 210 in the drink.

Looking at the animation, it was nowhere near a full swing. Of course, the animation may not reflect what you actually did with your controller / mouse

I've found that you need to watch for the golfer to do his "setup" motion. If you start your swing while this is going on it seems to create these type of lag shots. I usually tap the swing stick before every swing, including putts, as this cancels the setup animation and resets the golfer. Then you can execute you're swing without the interference.
