I am going to post a strange problem that I am having at this moment. Just start Rd.2 on the Champions tour, 1st hole, drove onto the fairway. Hit second shot to what was supposed to be the green, about 133 yd. shot. Noticed that the ball was in the rough, pin was shown about 9 yards away. Chipped ball onto what was supposed to be the green, but the pin was 4 yards away with no green, but just rough. Stopped there to post this. Do I continue to play even though there is an obvious problem with the simulation? I can not put to well in the rough??
I posted this and went back to the tournament and saw that now the green is showing with my 12 ft. putt left. Strange problem, will continue on. This is not a joke on my part, have lost 2 strokes to this problem but what can you do? "Play on" says the course marshal, don't need any penalty strokes now. Has anyone else experienced something like this in past?

That sounds like a corrupted course issue. Did you alt-tab to a different window to post and then go back or did you exit the game entirely? Just trying to figure out if there was a fix in case it crops up else where.

after the first problem cropped up, yes, I alt'd-tabbed to this site to post. The pin was on the screen, in the rough. Went back after post (1ST) and pin now on green no grid, ALT-Tab again to here, posted, went back to sim, exited and came back here.

One other strange thing today when I started the round. I got the patch (PC) yesterday with no apparent problems, today when I started from Steam, Steam indicated that it was loading files and the game would start when finished. I saw that also yesterday with the patch, not sure if anything was changed today or not?

The Alt-enter sometimes shakes balls bouncing in the rocks - maybe it also brings back greens that have disappeared?

Would not dispute that, however the problem appeared before I did the Alt-Tab. My second shot was a chip of about 9 yards but I got a pitch of 45 yards into the water before I left to start this posting. I know that I chipped because I changed it from pitch to chip, did not notice the rough issue at that time until the ball was re-spotted for the next shot and then I saw the pin in the rough. Weird or what?

Scott, I will go back and pickup where I left off. Hopefully the ball should be on the green with 4 yards or 12 feet left, 4th shot, 1st hole. Will restart in about 30 or 40 minutes, got something to take care of and then go back and pray for a better round with no strangeness!! Will be online but away from this site.

Does your pc utilise Intel on board graphics, rather than a dedicated Nvidia or ATI GPU?

Does your pc utilise Intel on board graphics, rather than a dedicated Nvidia or ATI GPU? All that I can see under "System" is an AMD Radeon HD 7700 series device. I believe that it is integrated to the mother board or the CPU card. The CPU card (board) is the only card that plugs into the motherboard on my computer. The CPU is an AMD FX-8300 series eight core processor module running at 3.3 GHz.

Sorry when I wrote Intel I should have wrote Integrated, this was an issue for a number of people about 3 months ago, there were several users getting course corruption issues and many posts/threads about it, (ie: greens rendered as rough instead of green texture).
I think they fixed it back then, but if I were you I would report the issue again over at the HB PC bug section, to let them know it is still an issue.
Or go buy a proper dedicated graphics card.

Good suggestion, however, my computer has no other expansion slots available, the only slot is occupied by the CPU card. This is an ASUS computer, good, but no room to expand to a better graphics card. They don't make PC's like they used to, at least with this company!! I mentioned this in my earlier post, sucks, but am stuck with what I have for the time being. Thanks for the input and suggestions. Will report it to HB. Played today, no issues, except that the glitch did cost me 2 strokes on a ho-hum round. Have man'd up and moved on.
