Having reached Level 10 has given me the opportunity to give back extra bonus cash to the players. As the money continues to grow so will the bonus amounts. As a reminder to those who are thinking of joining another society you have the ability to jump into and out our our society as there is No Membership fees attached. I would also like to remind you these are Handicap Tournament whenever possible. On occaison a course might not be handicapped yet, but worthy of play time as there are many talented designers out there that need some extra recognition. The cost of playing a tournament will remain at 250 coins with 90 % given back to the players along with added bonus coins . All Tourneys are 2 rounds/2 day, One major is a 4/round/3 day event. Bonuses as of now are set at 5,000 coins per tourney with some being bumped up to 10,000 or more as we get further into the month of October.
The first tourney Starting Sept 29th has added bonus of 10,000 coin. Below is the courses set for October.
9/29-1 Oaken Hill GC No Handicap
10/2-3 Oceans Of Memories

Ill give it a shot, sounds good. I've been looking for a society that is for players like myself that are just on the borderline Pro and CC tours.

I made hole 15 and 17 more difficult than they ought to be both rounds but I like the course.

Blech. 3-putted from like 15 feet on 18, first putt was a phantom break that looked dead straight (even the lines were straight), second putt broke opposite to the grid.

Just had the worst collapse ever. Was leading by 2 at -8 after the first round, birdied 4 of the first 5 holes in the second round to get to -12.
Last thirteen holes went par, par, par, bogey, par, par, par, par, par, par, bogey, birdie, double bogey with a 3-putt from 5 feet. So I was -12 through 23, finished at -10.

Boy it's tough to compete with a +10 handicap. Not even sure how it got that low, for the most part I've normally been hanging around +2 to +4. Just hit 35/36 GIR (the one I missed was just off the front and I parred), did the math, even if I'd one-putted every hole I'd be 6 shots back. As it is I'm 18 shots back, 1.33 putts per hole.
EDIT: Then there's DJimmychoo, who matched the course record with a 55 gross and set the course record with a 52 gross and is sitting 12 shots back with a +16 handicap.

+7 through 5 holes, 0% chance to get back in this with a +12 handicap since birdieing the last 13 holes of the first round won't even get me back to even. Think I'll just skip this event.

Well that was a pleasant surprise - just strung together my best back-to-back rounds in TGC2 to shoot -9 -10 at Woodland Plantation (even with the pin surrounded by yellow on the 14th in the 2nd round) - gives me a net score of -13. Always helps when you hole a 3 wood (at pace) for albatross in round 2 as well though
