I believe it goes by flag, not by tour. You have a USA flag, you are considered for the USA side.
You have a non-Ryder Cup flag, then you are considered for the Presidents Cup squad.
Finding Captains and Assistant captains would be the first step here, IMO, for the President's Cup rosters.
I know staff has a ton going on in the upcoming week, but this should be a thing to look at it the next month at least preparation-wise.

Finding a week when this would work would also be a good thing as well eventually.

Like I said I’ll be watching closely. They can’t use one ranking system to reshuffle players according to skill then use a different method to pick a rep team.
If the presidents cup is being picked on WGR, then why isn’t the World tour?

If the presidents cup is being picked on WGR, then why isn’t the World tour? Come 2018 the World Tour will be WGR based AFAIK. So there is a transitional period in between. Having a President's Cup at the very end of 2017 or very early in 2018 shoud have some kind of in between method. What that is, I am not sure.

Eventually the rankings on the world tour will be the top 50 players, you’re right - but they’ve picked the elite players for it based on just the hottest player rather than letting the rankings sort themselves out over a few months.
Heaven forbid new guys have a period of success or the old boys miss a cut.
They’ve set the precedent, they can’t now pick a rep team based on anything else.

I have you (just) outside of the World Tour. The World Tour is the Top 10 in WGR (regardless of last 5 weeks WGR points), then the next 40 in Hottest Last 5 weeks, so there is one player in the top 10 who makes it in despite not playing. This makes it the next 39 Hotest players. And then you might have counted one off... Welcome to the new PGA?!?!

In which case, that leaves Doyley at 49th the last one in. Phew!!

I have Doyley as the first one missing. It's an inactive issue (bug) for that person you may be missing AFAIK. Good luck in the new PGA. You may get up there to the World Tour eventually.
