As I write this, it is 11:00PM (or 23:00) on 9/17/17 in my time zone. US west coast. This equates to 6:00AM 9/18/17 UTC, a difference of 7 hours.
If I understand the rules correctly the cut deadline and final deadline are 8:00AM UTC Friday and Sunday, which would be 1:00AM Friday and Sunday here.
The countdown deadline on the website for rounds 1 and 2 is 3 days, 22 hours. 24+24+24+22 = 94 hours
94 hours from 11:00 PM (23:00) Sunday is 9:00PM (21:00) on Thursday, which is 4:00AM Friday UTC. This doesn't jive with the 8:00AM UTC (a 4 hour difference) deadline from the rules.
Am I crazy?

no, not crazy - still pushing Tim to get that updated on site. Hopefully fixed by this week's tournament. I'm going to adjust the cut deadline on rules/policies to remain 4am UTC (midnight eastern) but change the end of tournament to be 8am UTC.

What time are reveal times now (Rds 2, 3, and 4)? This used to be the time (it's 12:02 A.M. EST time on Tuesday) round 2 showed in the past.
Has it changed or is it something needing to be looked at when possible?

deadlines are still midnight to get scores in - reveals pushed back to 1am as some of the api/score gathering can take up to 10-15 minutes - if we process it too early some people don't have scores count - those that finished close to the deadline.

So this is a fix for the bug that saw players finishing in the last hour not showing up on leaderboards, then? I am not one at all to play late, but trying to play regular tours and TST full time again may get me there at some point. Do I need to worry if I play between 11 and midnight on thursday night (Rd 2) or on Saturday night (Rd 4)? |
