Update after Week 48 finalized- WGR was reset to look at the last 6 events of TGC1****
- easier for new TGC2 members to catch up
- Money/Trophy cards handed out
- demotion strikes (and double strikes) dished out
Still to come- Handing out Q-School cards
**** it's possible that it's looking at your last 6 events regardless of when that was - not sure we'll be able to fix but it will work itself out in time - just means some inactive players will still have WGR points. Tim is concentrating on real job this week so issues like this will take a backseat.

Tim will look into the Events column of WGR to see if we can change it to be more accurate to how many events are being used in the calculation.

Just a quick question still away on holiday and therefore did not play any of last weeks web tournie and yet I see that I have a Dq should this not be a DNP ?? Obviously never teed off at all. Should be back to get my rounds in for this weeks tournie just before cutline. Thanks

I gave up for a while and was wgr 106. I dropped to 240 for not playing. I finished 17th last week and now I'm 266 ffs. Finished ahead of Moe but he went up 18 places. Where's that picture of Olu the black kid when you need it 😂

I gave up for a while and was wgr 106. I dropped to 240 for not playing. I finished 17th last week and now I'm 266 ffs. Finished ahead of Moe but he went up 18 places. Where's that picture of Olu the black kid when you need it 😂 Your reward is to play Slorking Sands every day for the next month. Enjoy! |

I dropped 100 places down to 374. lol, guess that happens when you don't play.
I have a bunch of DQs because I didn't play the US Open Qualifier or any of the exhibition events.
Last week, I played 1 hole and quit. Could that be represented with a DNF?
Just thinking aloud, here.

A lot of the Top 100 have disappeared or aren't as good anymore. Keep banging in the Top 5's and you'll be there pretty sharpish.
Might sound daft but staying in the Top 50 is all I really care about WGR wise - pretty much gets you automatic entry into everything. Certainly nowhere to go but down for me

Yeah thats my aim, stay top 100 and hopefully top 50 which means entry into all the WGC's down the line, not having to worry about qualifying for Majors etc.
That...and having fun.

Surprisingly up from 78 to 69, going to be tough to stay that high though. Staying in the top 100 is my goal so at least I get to play in the two Opens. Then it's all about the Euro money list for the Masters. Oh yeah, and having fun  |
