Next Level Course Design Contest entry.
Conditions Soft medium, fast.
I was pretty happy to see publish successful. ;D
I used less then half of my meter, in consideration of load times and hopefully as a result it runs smooth.
Needless to say, I would of liked to double up on the planting to get everything I wanted, however I hope you like the result anyway.
This has been quite a slog, I hope everyone enjoys.
I will leave the pictures to the pro's here to do it some justice.
Finally I would like to thank DDawg for giving me the final tip and suggesting I decorate my lake with a few rocks and some plants, I planted down a couple or so of each and it gave the final push I needed to see the project to the end.
I highly recommend you keep this handy, the course plays easy, but can eat you all the same with poor decisions. Have fun out there, may you be blessed with a straight shot and a good putter enjoy.
Hole
1 Avoid the fairway bunker, although it's not jail if you go in. 2. Theres a hole with a pond on the left side that is hard to carry, avoid it, if you go in and stay on the slope, I suggest coming out sideways, it's jail. 3. Second fairway is reachable with tail wind leaving you 5 wood to green for eagle. 4.Nothing fancy here, however make sure you get on top teir of the green with the pin, anything short will leave a monster putt. 5. What you see is what you get. 6.If you are going to ignore the caddy and go for the fairway over the first bunker, the fairway slopes into the second bunker, however the left half of that fairway is flat. 7.Strong head wind will not catch the slope for the long drive, but What you see is what you get. 8. 2 teir green here, pin has a back stop. 9. Tail wind and you drive through the fairway, be careful.
Now we start the 7 lakeside holes. The lake plays on the right side. I have no idea what will happen if you go right, it looks like jail down there, but there's room left and right for some error.
10. The ditch can be barely carried with a tailwind 6 and above. Consider layup. 11. What you see is what you get. 12. The fairway bunker is in play, if you go driver you will not likely carry it, there are slivers of fairway on either side, consider a layup. Second shot is no gimmie here, consider another layup. 13. What you see is what you get however make sure you get on top teir of the green with the pin. 14. Wait till you see the length of this par 4 from the blue tees. What you see is what you get however make sure you get on top teir of the green with the pin. This can have some diabolical putts, be careful. 15. There's a decoration in the fairway, avoid it, give it plenty of room, stay right of it, trust me here, behind it is jail. 16. You might want to check your club here, don't be short. 17. Tee shot looks a little dark, could not be avoided sorry, however green is in bright sun. Avoid bunker on the right and fairway narrows the farther out you go, but it is narrow, be straight here. Make sure you get on top teir of the green with the pin. The teir is short of the pin, there is not alot of room, use plenty of club. Unless you like 70 foot putts. 18. Just stand back and admire the 300 yard stone wall, What you see is what you get, with a little gift on the green. The dozers are coming in and I have asked them to resculpt the green when they build the blue tees.
Take care all, till later, over and out.

Updated above with course guide, you will need it trust me. I see the course already had DDawg for lunch and Crazycannuck for dinner. I just shot -10 in windy conditions, course knowledge is huge here. Let me know what you think please. Builders have been booked to come in a few weeks, I can get them to make some changes.
Changes the builder has been booked to make already.
1. Blue tees 2. 4 days of pins 3. 18th green is being dug up and re-done. 4. Trees are being removed from the decoration on the 15th hole and being re-planted, sculpted and bushes and flowers are being added.
Make any further suggestions below please.
Have fun and may you hit them straight.

3.75 here, that is disappointing, make sure you use the guide all please.
I'm fairly certain when it eats you for dinner the niceness of the course can cause a low rating, the course is easy with proper decisions. That's golf, course management is huge, I'm a big believer in course management. Planning every shot is needed here, it was never intended to be a stand up and whack it, find it then whack it again course. Even if you get a diabolical putt, it was the result of either a poor decision or poor execution, the greens are more than fair if you find the right landing spots.
Golf should be about making the right decision and then executing the right shot.
Please all, I beg you, play it, use the guide, play it well, plan your shots, then leave a rating please.
I'm biased, but I do believe it deserves better than a 3.75.

Is this not the course that you were putting out pics of with the dried creekbed filled with flowers, etc?

Plenty of eye candy out there, enjoy, but be careful please.

Shot a 72(+2). Nice course man, it played good. Fast greens were fun and challenging. Had a nice 25 foot bird on 18 to cap it off, thanks for that haha. Rated 9 and favorited

I should have told all the entrants not to submit for tgctour scoring till after the judging was completed, but do keep in mind the scores you guys get here will not reflect my judging in the least

This is where I wish more people used the user review section. I rated it a bit low ( I liked the look for the most part..but it just seemed a bit too "closed in" for me..and no it wasn't because that course ate me alive!)..seems like most people that have played would rate it higher. Go give Steve a rating! I'm the only person that has given a user review so far. My reviews count just as much as everyone else's. It doesn't take long, play it, rate it, write a quick couple sentences or two, and you're done! Make my rating not count as much!

Uh just for reminders to TGCTOURs this course brings my PC to its knees, so could we not assign it to a major...I am pretty sure consoles will be pushing it also.

Wow, and I used less then half of my allotment, just over a 3rd, very little multiplant - 1 hole if I recall as I said in original post, no moving objects, no animals, if I made a light version I would almost need to delete holes.
As far as the new object meter goes, it is the smallest of all my released courses to date.
Sorry about that, I tried.
