Diiiirty, taste. Hate that I get too excited to play. Didn't play many practice rounds and just went for it...59-65-63-58 -39...Def not my best. Just hope to make cut and maybe make climb slowly on weekend... is that -18 for the first two? i predicted the cut will be -16, I think you are safe, 59 is a strong score. Hope so. Played awful rds 2 & 3...lot of trouble on the greens and dumped a few in the water. I'm just bummed that we have to wait another week to play again!

That is certainly a score that has the potential to be a winner but it always seems there is someone else with a slightly better score...especially now that everyone knows what to shoot for. =) Should def be good for a top-5 I think...and who knows, maybe the golfing gods will send 15 mph winds for the rest of the week! Great shooting!

Played one practice round before going all 4 rounds in a row. Winds were calm to 7mph max. Knew I had to birdie every hole I could to have a shot. This tournament is going to be one of those "barn-burner" or birdies and eagles. First three rounds of consecutive 57-57-57. I then set my goal to reach -60. I will guarantee the winner will be -60 to -65 under for this tournament. If you don't shoot under 60, you're losing strokes to the leaders. So what I do for my final round? Next post lol.

I couldn't buy myself a damn putt the entire round. I hit every green in regulation, my longest birdie look was 20 feet on the 227 yard par 3 (which I was always between clubs). I had about 5 lipouts. Oh well. Hopefully a top 10 and some more points.

Tyler, I played a practice round last night and tied the course record on PS4 at -16. I told my son somebody will shoot -60 there. There's no doubt!

i dont know why but i seem to shoot lights out in practice but when i get to the tourney i just perform so badly. Over-thinking. The best example is on my putts. When I'm playing a round and it doesn't mean anything I usually move the marker pretty quickly to where I need it to be with maybe a few small tweaks. In tournaments I'm over-thinking where to place the marker, over-thinking the stroke to take (especially so on short breaking putts), and so on. Best advice I can give is figure out what you are doing different in tournaments that you don't in a practice round. You set-up in a practice round needs to become indistinguishable from your setup in a tournament. Usually, that means slowing down all shots and thinking analytically, even if it's a so-called easy shot. The reason being, you can't rush a difficult shot so its better to have a routine that allows for all shot types and difficulties. The other thing is to be so practiced at a course that, no matter the conditions, you can almost automatically set up a shot, put it where you want it, and make the next shot with little thought. I know that for Pominville, I was at the point where some of the holes I only needed to figure out the wind because I knew the effect of the elevation change. One could also try to have their amygdala surgically removed so that you don't have a fight or flight response anymore.

I think taste will win this week, -57 is a huge strong score. The course is easy ish, but it can bite anyone at any time and likely will everyone at some point. That 55 will sit on those record boards for while as well. Very nice shooting.
I like the cut line prediction of -18.
Whole different breed of pressure this week, where par feels like bogie.

I still think someone, you included can reach -60 Agree about par feels like bogey. Every par that I had I was screaming my head off lol
