Wow, spent 5 solid hours on my putting green, first time out of the gate, I end up in the lions nest.
Pros: Well I expect a lot from this designer, I got a lot. Nice clean design, fairways were magnificent, plenty to look around at and admire. Holes left me interested and awaiting the next. Green slope and shape were perfect. Cons: To many uneven tee blocks for a course where the tee shot line is a premium.
Fully recommend this clean beautiful track. In game I gave it a 9, here I'm afraid the designer should have to settle for a 4.75.

The roar you heard was not that of a Lion ... it was that of one angry dawg, over the latest putter that someone placed in his bag! stole my trusty old Slotline and replaced it with a 12# sludge hammer!!!
Other than that, very nice .... I kept expecting to see Kimba, or the Lion King ... I have no pride ... LOL

Just played Symphony Manor and one of the tee boxes is pretty severly sloped with the left tee box marker being more than half buried. There was no wind and I still hit it straight. I thought I read in the HB forums a few months ago someone saying that a tee shot is always considered a level lie. I'm on PS4, do they react differently on Xbox or PC?

Lion's Gate CC is a shoe in for a 2015 Q-School appearance..... Tricky f/ways & trickier fast greens. Top draw front 9 with tons of eye candy & clever Fickett fancies like; bridges over sand & retaining walls giving the waterways a man made, almost canal system feel. Then all of a sudden after Leo makes his entrance, at the turn, the back 9 looses something.. I can't put my finger on it.. it's as though almost the whole budget was spent on the outbound track and the inbound received the minimum of expenditure.... indeed it's not until the approach on the 18th that you remember what those early holes had to offer. Don't get me wrong there's no let up in course management, just the visual treats as more and more of the terrain is blanket covered with rough. A look that does the Countryside theme no favours in my humble opinion and if you don't get the lighting right it feels like your looking at a "fuzzy felt" landscape..... Luckily, J W spares us from that with his choice of settings. A solid 7 rating in game for me & 4.0 here, well done.

That would be why I hate them so much, sometimes, not all times, the shot jumps off the tee in the wrong direction, especially noticeable for us non x-axis hitting types.

Great course Job.
Managed -12 and missed a 5 foot birdie on the 16th too. Very enjoyable. One question though, was the 3rd hole designed on purpose so you could drive your tee shot up the 2nd fairway and be closer to the green by 20 yards? I saw the small bit of fairway next to the green in that direction so figured it may have been intentional? I had a 8mph headwind so wouldn't have cleared the water anyway so didn't attempt it.
Oh and Steve, I would have thought the jumping tee shot would be more noticeable to someone using an x-axis device as they would expect their drive to go dead straight every time.
