Since i forgot that we aren't on TGC1 any more and cant create a tournament that can be played by all platforms, can anyone give me any guidance on how you can create an event for all platforms to participate in? Are different scoring formats available? And what about the wind? Will that be different at different times of the day?
Cheers

Dave if you go cross-platform the only way to do it is have 3 people start societies - 1 for each platform. Then you synchronise your schedule. This is how we did it for the Seniors Tour. Wind will be different across the 3 platforms. Good luck.

That seems a little bit crap really, noone is going to want to play in an event where one person has no wind, and another is playing in a hurricane?

We have been doing cross platform team event in the Intrepid Championship. 4 weeks in so far and it had been going great with no complaints about the wind. I honestly haven't once thought about the fact that someone could be playing with different conditions. But I guess if that is something that will be a hangup it may not be worth the hassle.

I have a surrogate society space that is a bi product of me mucking about in societies when it first came out. I am more than happy to use it for a cross platform tourney. It is being used for the next few weeks for the English county tournament but after that it's good to go.

Is there no way to create a stableford tournament? Seems a bit poo?
I also can't see a way to have an event that runs over three different courses?

The only way to do a tournament that would run over multiple courses is to set up three 1 rounds tournaments. We do that with two courses per "round". Each round spans over 3 days and each is a different course. Its a little bit more work setting up the schedule, but it can be done.

Ok well if Digs is happy to run the Xbox society, I'll do the PS4 one, can I get a volunteer for PC?
