All I can say ... is I am glad to have MY PUTTER back in my bag again!
I may not have scored low enough to make the top 100 for the cut, but it sure felt good to post a 74 instead of another 92!!! + 2 is a lot better than a +20 ... though I am not happy jumping the red eye ... I am glad I played the 2nd round, and not just QUIT. See ya at the next tourney!
PS. Hope you make the cut OB Nex ... The Beer is on me this round!

Sadly, no sign of Englishman Sam (Simon A Morris) making an appearance in the press tent this week. Rumour has it he played back to back rounds & ended 2 over par for the tourney after making a fantastic start of 6 under through 6. Apparently we're just getting word he's on his way to HB Studio's in down town Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada.... And, yes..... yes.... German co-competitor Nina Nilson has just confirmed this to one of my colleagues and I can tell you he's been quoted as saying: "I'm gonna £u@%!^$ Rambo the place!!!" whatever that means? Oh! wait.. wait..... Hang on folks... we have just been handed this short video of Morris on the 18th green.. maybe this can shed some light on the breaking news?
See y'all at Briar Hill folks............

We grabbed David Donovan after his second round to have a quick chat.
What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
Definitely Hole 4 for me in my 2nd round. Hole in One! Will upload later
What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
I went over par on one hole during my first two rounds. A little annoying, but I just played the two best rounds I have ever played on TGC, so not too worried.
What did you think of the course?
I have practised alot on this course and enjoy it. Love the slower greens.
How did you fare on the leaderboard?
I shot 2 rounds of 60 to put me 2nd equal at the moment. Favourable winds for me, but I was almost perfect for 36 holes.

What was the highlight of your round/tournament? That would most certainly have to be the 62 (-10) that I posted in round one that put me near the top of the leader board with the big dogs. After missing the cut last week I really needed a confidence boost to get me going. I'm also proud of the fact that I was able to go bogey-free over the first two rounds of the tournament. Not dropping shots when going up against this caliber of competition certainly helps.
What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
Probably when I came crashing back to Earth with my second round 68 (-4) which is almost certain to take me out of contention for this week's title. Now I'm looking to get into the top 25 and take home a nice check.
What did you think of the course?
I can't say enough good things about this layout. It really suits my eye and the designer did a great job thinking out a course that is challenging, yet presents many scoring opportunities as well. My wife, who traveled with me this week (or walked by the TV while I was playing), is also a big fan of the beautiful fall colors.
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
So far I'm just inside the top 30, which is a complete 180 from missing the cut last week at the Frank Underwood. Only person that I'm trying to beat right now is Mr. Cutline so that I can get some money in this wallet and start eating somewhere other than a Waffle House while I'm on the road.

Let's see if we can get a word from ObsoleteNexus as he makes his way to the scorer's hut to sign off on his round. Nexus........Nexus can we have a quick word?Yeah sure. Nexus what was the highlight of your round today?
I would have to say being paired with the club house leader. He won last weeks tournament, and.......well.....for the front 9 at least, I stayed with him, very encouraging. And the the low-light of your round?
Well I got a little ratty on the back nine there, need to tighten that up if I want to progress up the leader board, over the next couple of days. Thank Nexus's....best of luck in the remaining rounds.
Thanks, thanks, appreciate your time. Of course you can see the highlights tonight from Round 2 @ The Oaks at Westchester on Nexus Webcast ...... back to you Nick.

Billybudd0623 approaches the press tent after the first two rounds with a smile.
What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
After I posted a first round 70, I figured if I didn't get my butt in gear, then it would be another missed cut. But in the second round, things happened and I shot 61! At -13, I may be playing on the weekend.
And the the low-light of your round?
Too many missed putts.
Good luck to all my fellow webbers and if I can go low ( even for one round ) then you can too!! Practice!

Had a difficult third round with the winds picking up to 10mph, put me off on a few occasions. I didn't start focused and it shows with two bogeys on the front nine and a poor putting performance on the fourth hole for a double bogey. Thankfully stayed clean for the back nine holes and rallied to shoot a 70 and add -2 to my score. Will be switching equipment after this tournament, will be going to a SteelSeries Rival mouse and switching out my Logitech G5 (which has performed pretty well)
