Thanks for the review and fair points. I did out a stupid amount of hours in. I've tried to find every review and I'm making a list of things that can be fixed. That first fairway is awesome but was originally designed over 100 years ago so club and ball improvements have taken a lot of the strategy away.ill release a revised version at some point.
Edit: also wanted to touch on your point about being too close to the plot edge. This was done to be able to create the housing and beach at the other end of the property and to include Salt Island. I think hid it well from the course but it's noticeable when panning around.

As I said mate I was really knit picking the course the amount of effort you put in should be commended and defo your a designer for the future just need to hone in your skills!!!
Regarding the plot edge on people looking for faults would find it but because of your excellent costal area people will be drawn to look at it and it doesn't look nice. In saying that it wouldn't be a negative mark when grading more of a try avoid it in the future.
I have marked your course as a grade 2 but with the outlined fixes (not including the plot edge) it's an easy grade 1. Also I'm sure you will have courses on tour if you keep designing (please do).
Sorry about the waffle 😂. But in summary keep designing keep improving watch scampis videos and I look forward to playing your courses in future 👍🏻

Have you played this course in real life? Interesting course by an interesting designer. I was thinking of recreating Myopia, another classic Leeds course and consistently rated one of the best in Massachusetts. I'm just waiting for my buddy to get me on there.

I haven't played it but I live pretty close so I drive it weekly. There was a half finished Myopia on tgc1 that had the layout pretty close. It was really missing planting but would have been a great base if the designer decided to update it and finish it.

I played this course some hour ago, for a list I'm working on. I just wish to say that in my opinion you realized an outstanding accurate recreation. Is absolutely clear the huge amount of time and passion you have spent on this work. While I played, i checked the course with the satellite map and I can't almost believe this course is made without the lidar. And also all those little details like the tennis courts and the houses and the swimming pools around the course..everything is so accurate. The course himself is an easy one, playing from the tips and with pro clubs I had almost every approach from a distance good for a pitch, sometimes a flop shot..honestly i don't liked it too much this kind of courses, but what really matters for me is just your effort. Is definitely sad that your course has so few plays..it deserves a lot more. Now I'm going to play your other course, the Chester Yacht Club. About this other course I also have a little curiosity, so i ask : I saw that you republished the course a week ago. And I'll play this last version, but what is different with your first release? Anyway..again, I feel just the need to congratulate you for your work and, above the huge thank you for the time you spent for my amusement , I hope this little bump up can help a bit to make your work recognized. And if realizing Chester you have spent the same amount of time and passion, I'm already sure that even this course deserve more love. A lot much more love. Thank you again. Great work! EDIT : I found your post about the republishing of Chester and there's no need to explain. By the way, it is another gem. And is also a kind of course I like a bit much more than Bass Rocks. Again..great work!!
