I bought the M2 three wood to go with my M2 driver and I must say that this is the best, and most easy to hit fairway wood, I have ever had.
I am a +6 handicap but fairway woods has not been my strong point. That has changed. The M2 driver is also a very good driver also, and the loft is adjustable. I have mine at 10 degrees.
If you are in need of a new driver/3 wood, I would give these clubs a demo. Mine are last years models and the pro at my golf course that these were as good as the newer models. Good buys on these clubs.
Anyone else play the M2 series?

I had an M1 driver. Went back to my Callaway. Traded in Callaway irons for new Mizuno irons. Wedges are Titleist. Meh. I know this is irrelevant to what you asked. My friend has all TM stuff. I've tried his on the range and always prefer my Callaway. However, I believe if fitted with the TM, I'd actually prefer it better.

Daxon, we all have different swings and preferences. I have Mizuno irons and a pingeye (30 yrs old) sandwedge. My bag is a mixture of what I have found works for me. Whatever gets you the par, right?
I have also used Callaway woods that have not performed ( for my swing ) as well as the TM.
Side note: I tried the new 'Srixon Q star tour ball' (30/dz) and they hit very well. Shot a 76 with them. Only drawback was I did not make any putts with them. ( it was the balls fault, not mine) I would compare them to the Titeist NXT tour balls.

Anyone else play the M2 series? I was thinking about it at the start of this season. Unfortunately I had no chance of testing them somewhere and I was a bit afraid they wouldn't fit my Handicap so well (which is around 15.0). So I finally went with the XR-series from Callaway (also last years model), which I could test at least quickly in a local golf store.

Edi, the M2 would have been fine for you. I am sure the Callaway clubs are great also.
Probably not a lot of difference in the better clubs today.

Yeah, you might be right. Just trivialities and a lot about (personal) preferences I guess. I like my new Callaway Driver so far. Quiet easy to swing, and I absolutely love the sound & feedback from a good shot. If it just wouldn't (Pull) hook from time to time!

I'm a former PGA club professional and currently still a scratch golfer. I still play my forged Titleist 690 irons from 2005 because I love them, although I'm surely giving up performance over some of the new forged irons that look amazing. Anyway, I digress. I've always been a Titleist guy since I was on staff with them years ago, but last year I decided to try the new Taylor Made woods because of how many big name pros chose them on tour. I couldn't believe it, they were awesome for me. I've never hit anything better. I purchased an M1 driver, and M2 15° three wood and M2 22° hybrid. They are SO long! I actually only hit driver 4 or 5 times per round, because I can hit the M2 three wood about 260yds consistently straight, so that works just fine for 80% of the par 4s anyway. I highly recommend them.
