Bonner Point Golf Club has now been ported and published to TGC 2. There are 3 tees; Black (Tournament), White (Members) and Red (Public). There are 3 pin sets for tournament organizers. Set 1 is the easiest, set 3 is that hardest. Full tournament crowds are included for those who want to use the course in a tournament.
Course length is Red: 6,443 yds. White 6,925 yds, Black 7,392 yds.
Below are some screenshots.
Hole 2 approach. The pin displayed pin is pin set 1 and it's fairly open. Pin set 2 is a bit more difficult. Pin set 3 is tucked behind the branch as it was in the TGC1 version
Hole 3 from midway down the fairway.
Hole 5 from the tee
Hole 5 approach
Hole 7 from the Tee. This will require a fade for maximum distance from the black tees to get around the trees. From the white or red tees, just grab the driver, grip it and rip it hugging the trees on the right. The ball has a natural tendency to stray to the left for some reason. At least it did in testing.
Hole 7 green. The pin that's showing is pin set number 1, the easiest. This is a very tough green with many breaks. Pin set 3 is cut on the top of the mound in the approximate center of the green. Be accurate or you're toast. Birdie is an excellent score here, but par isn't bad. An eagle is very unlikely here.
Hole 8 is an par 3 with an island green
Hole 9. As you can see, the bunkers and fairway has been re-worked at the landing zone. It's still tight, but a miss doesn't always mean bunkersville.
Hole 10. Pin set 1 is fairly open as is pin set 2. Pin set 3 is tucked behind a tree branch.
Hole 11
As with the TGC 1 version, this is designed to be a tournament course (when played from the Black Tees). From the red tees, it will most likely be a birdie fest. Give it a play and tell me what you think.
