Lets start off with the clubhouse, while very similar to the one i used in my last course, I did not have enough space to fully embrace the look I was going for, so this time, I made sure I got it right:

please note, no planting other than the clubhouse has been done, scrubs, bushes, palms and what ever else is needed to make it stand out as one of the best damn clubhouses in the game will be done.
now, on to the course:
This course will not be a championship style course, I will try to keep it challenging, but I am going for something different, the most enjoyable round of golf in TGC, and the simple yet effective design style will take us there, hopefully, both visually and physically.
Lets start with the first hole complex:
Hole 1 is a medium-long par 4, coming in at approx 450 yards
Coming down from the club house to the first hole is a short hop and a skip, this unfinished tee greets you with two palms and some flowers neatly guarded by wooden frames
Once you are there, walk up to the edge and gaze on the journey you are about to embrace
Here is an overhead view of the first hole complex (and the 9th hole complex)
The drive off the first tee box is very risky driver as the fairway bottlenecks right around your landing area, a 3/5w is a much safer alternative if you are not feeling frisky to start your round.
looking back toward the tee box from off in the distance
Moving onto the 9th hole, why not the 2nd you ask? well, I like to make sure I am getting back to the clubhouse when I stupidly start too close to the corner of the land plot...
9th hole tee box view
The 9th hole is a medium length downhill par 3, coming in at approx 180 yards, but playing approx 165 yards due to elevation. The green is guarded by a front left pot bunker, and waste bunkers on all other sides.
I need to get in a green side image for both this hole and the first, will edit that in later
Moving onto the 18th hole, same reasons .....same reasons...Hole 18 is a classic par 5, coming in on the shorter side playing approx 525 yards give or take.
18th hole is just getting started, an overhead view of the planned layout, much work still needs done
The drive offers up two options, go long to the left with a driver, or lay up with a 3/5 wood to the right. What are the benefits to laying up to the right? well to give you a better angle at the pin of course since the pin is guarded by an oval pot bunker from the left side fairway angle. There is a large waste bunker that divides the two fairway options.

I cant wait to start working on this course again later on tonight, I think I will have a ton of fun with it.
