Thanks for the feed back too, I widened the second fairway abit more and made the green on the first a little bigger but the greens are pretty soft so you can still get after the pin. Currently working on a par 4 third. I'll tell you what tho it's quite time consuming lol

Try aim for 25-30m wide on fairways and greens around 12.5x25m well that was approximately the rule of thumb for tgc1 but in 2 the game is also harder to be straight.. so bail out areas will be important too 😊

Welcome to the TGC community man!!! We can always use more designers that are willing to put in the work it takes to publish a good or great playable course. From the pics being your first course I could never tell. Only thing I see from pics are greens a lil small and fairways which guys have allready mentioned above. Also random rocks still generated all over the place. That's an easy fix though just go to rocks and take it all the way down or off. The true test is to play it though, is it published??? Lemme know, and good luck moving 4ward!!!

Thanks man, I already have Ideas for others but I cant lose focus on this one other wise it will never get published, I've worked on the green in the first and made it a little bit bigger but made the green softer so it's easier to hit, I've also widened the fairway on the second on one side but tried to work with contours to help you stay on the fairway, I'm trying to find the right mix of challenging but not punishing

A quick tip for you: On the TGC2 designer do NOT trust the pars to stay. Once you set all the tees it will automatically set the forward tees and if it's too short it will register as a par 4. Happened with a ported course for VctryLnSprts and changed his to a par 69 and it happened with me on my third hole in my WIP (luckily I checked it as I playtested).

Thanks man, I'll keep that in mind when I'm working on it. I do play test vigorously tho, I want my first to be the best it can be. I'll be sure to test out some of your courses too.

Cost me a complete renaming of a course I loved.

I'd been wondering why the square for the default tee position had been moving to the front tees but it didn't turn into a problem until I ran into a par 5. Only work around I can think of is to place tees in reverse, i.e. placing from forward tees to tips, but I'm not home to test it yet. Tons of work around that really don't need to be in the game.

I placed them in both orders numerous times. It appears that it will always default tee set 1 to be closest to the green.
