Nope, or I am stupid and can't find it. When you go into the society that you want to leave, click on the settings button for Administration, this is where you can set the society as your primary, or leave the society...of course, IF THEY'D LIFT THE DAMN LIMIT, this wouldn't be an issue!! Edited to add, I have NOT left any society yet, so I don't know all the ramifications (i.e., can you rejoin without having to pay entry fee again, does it affect the society's status, etc.)...

Perfect, thank you for the pic. Worth a thousand words. Yeah, one thing really lacking is the details behind the implementation and process of the game. God if we only had detailed manuals and run books it would be so much better. hate the darkness, love the light.

The thing I don't like about societies is the added scheduling pressure. I have only joined three so far, and one of them is TGCTours Web. But I already missed the first event in several of them, so I'm already feeling "behind." Honestly, even if I had 5 societies, it would feel like I have to get a 2-4 round tournament in every two days or I'll start to lag in the society. It feels like trying to keep good standing on many tours all at once.
Gone are the days of looking at the community events page and just saying, "oh, that match-play event looks cool" or "wow, American States sounds neat." NO! You'll be limited to the events in one of your 5 societies, correct?
Then add in the single-platform aspect of societies and it's even worse. Some of the guys I enjoyed following in community events aren't on XB1 like me, but now those guys are tucked away in PC or PS4 societies.
I don't get it, I really don't.

I'm leaving one open to go between the TGC (or official) societies as I can leave and rejoin for free. The other 4 I'm using for paid societies. It's annoying, but manageable π

So basically HB have replaced our Community Run Events with in game societies. It's not necessarily a bad thing and remember this is version 1.0, things could well be different around the corner. It has its good and bad points at the moment.
As for the limit of 5, maybe to stop people joining everything and never playing? Right now you can look through the list and if you see numbers you know it might be worth joining. Personally 5 is more than enough for me, where do you guys get the time?! But I can see that it should be at least 10 for those who have the time.

So basically HB have replaced our Community Run Events with in game societies. Pretty much. If they patch in being able to create events with multiple courses and it be cross platform, we'll be fine...otherwise...well, the otherwise doesnt bear thinking about

I took a page from andybarrell here...250 in WGR and 34 events mimicking the PGA. 34 different course. All 4 rounds. Actually quite fun. πππ

Here's a question, if I pay to join a society and then leave, but wish to join that society again, do I have to pay the joining fee again?

The thing I can't quite get, you can view all societies, but can't enter their events. Why not allow societies to run open events for non-members? It would make things work so much smoother, and might get the participation level up (and therefore the prize pool) for societies looking for that. Then the HB societies would be up to the same level they were in the last game.

Any idea, after I joined four societies and put in a request to join a fifth, when the request was approved and I went to pay the fee that it wouldn't let me, saying I already had five? Career doesn't count toward the five does it?

Had a fun one today...
I paid the entry fee to play in an event in one of the societies I'm in and it debited my total, I played all the rounds, clicked Society Home after the event, and I'm not on the leaderboard. When I go back into the event page, it says "begin round 1".
Well, that sucks.
