I chipped 90% of the time with my 9i. Has anybody tested the 9i chipping math like there was in TGC1? I have not had a chance yet.
I'm actually doing pretty well chipping, better then I expected but if there are some numbers out there . . . .

Chipping is all feel in TGC2, but my one tip is to loft up when chipping to minimize your roll out.
I personally use a gap wedge to chip if it's between 4-12 yards, 13-20 I'll use a lob wedge, and over that I use a flop. I've had good success like this so far, if only I could putt I would be pretty happy with how I'm scoring.

I have been practicing with the wedges trying to get the swing down.

Yea - I have a small chart for my lob web which is a base for "feel". I created a flat hole and chipped with different lofts. I found there are about 20 clicks on the lofting but not all clicks are the same. HOWEVER. it's a consistent 20. bottom to top to that helps.
I do REALLY love the "feel" part of this game. I found that slope REALLY makes a difference. Just like putting, it will just be repetitions.
I'll post my chart later but it might be personal. Everyone clicks differently and it's not science, still feel.
