I've seen some people in society tournaments have much different wind in the same round that I'm in. When you play a tournament is the wind random? If so, how can we compete against each other if someone is playing in low wind while another person has to play in high wind?

Maybe they were just playing a round there and not in the tourney? That would make their wind be whatever. Just guessing, though. No clue.

it will show your opponents wind as different to yours, but when you speak to them they actually have the same wind, also it will not show what club your opponent is using ghost watchers beware

The TST tournament I played 100% had different wind in each of the four rounds.
Seperate issue I know, but has anyone else found this?

My stepson played TGC1 and quite often the wind he played in wasn't the wind I played in on the same tournament. I just put it down to the weather being on a cycle or something. Sometimes pro's get a little lucky with the weather, I just put it down to that. So long as it's fair and equal (not necessarily identical) I'll be happy 👍

For well, well over a year I believe we had similar winds and directions across all platforms. The issue here in TGC2 is far less known and could be an issue.

Facts don't care if you believe them lol. I had TGC1 on XBone PS4 and PC to find out which I played better on - I can guarantee you the winds were similar, not identical.

I also played TGC1 on all three platforms. Whats the point of this? The issue is if the winds are similar (not identical) across platforms in TGC2. So far the results seem dubious.

What was the point of you saying you didn't believe it??

What was the point of you saying you didn't believe it?? Saying the wind wasn't the same with no context doesn't give details. If it is similar and similar direction, then that is how it played in TGC1. TGC2 is a new animal. Why are we arguing about this when we both understand this at a fundamental level about a game we (at least for me) don't play anymore?

Sorry if you toot anything the wrong way, it was a clarification rather than me being pissy about anything. I'm new in here, but old to the game, didn't mean to offend 👍 And yeah, won't be playing TGC1 again, this is the bomdiggety

In the grand scheme of things finding out if wind is consistently the same cross platform is th key here for me. Good luck out on the course.
