If you switch it from Inverted to Normal, the Tour clubs get a lot easier.

What exactly does that do?

Inverted means the direction if the ball mirrors the stick. IE you push the stick right of the center line and the ball will go right and vice versa.
Normal means it follows how real golf works ie to hit a draw you swing from the inside out or if you push the stick to the right of the center line you will hit a draw and vice versa to hit a fade.
Shouldn't have anything to do with difficulty to hit the ball straight

This turns your hook into a slice and vice versa.

Yes, I believe inverted was the default in TGC1. Use inverted if you want the ball to go left when you swing left and right when you swing right

If you switch it from Inverted to Normal, the Tour clubs get a lot easier. Flip flops a draw to a slice and a slice to a draw, no more. The rest is a placebo effect, IMO. FWIW, I did flip to Normal.

In real life a swing plain like this / will yield a draw and a plain like \ will be a slice. My bad shots have all been hooks as my plain has been \ on the controller slightly. It's what I'm used to so I'll leave it on inverted anyway even if it's technically wrong. Either way it is of no benefit to me as if I switch I will be slicing instead. I've seen numerous posts today with people offering this advice when it's just fixing one problem to create another really. Best of luck everyone myself included 😂

No. Not at all.
I've never played inverted anything in any game I've ever played. Switched that @!$#er to normal as quickly as I was able.

I'm usually the same way when it comes to aiming, but I think this is a little different. It's not like you'll have to swing up and then down on the stick to do a swing. If it makes more sense to you that when the ball goes left, you're missing left on the stick, then this would be the way you should play.
