Thanks for everyone's input. I play on xb1 so I don't think calibration has anything to do with me. For the guy who called me a yank. I'm actually Canadian and was just being polite about our 150 coming up this weekend.. So was I... Since when can jokes only ever go one way nowadays?

Noticing the same issue. Not really enough feedback on the screen to tell me why my ball is hooking, almost every shot. Playing on xbox1.
Edit: tried in a different controller and the issue seems to be gone?!?!
Edit 2: anyone on Xbox one use a wired controller?

I'm using the xbox Elite and have the same issues as Birch. I literally have to watch my thumb on the controller rather than the screen, and then time out when I think it's time to start the downswing.
The most frustrating part of it is the "fast" downswing - the swing path can be right down the middle, but the "fast" downswing causes the ball to go wildly left. As others have suggested, make the cone a lot smaller, but shots inside the cone should be less affected by less than perfect swings.

The best part is when you hit it inside the cone but then it's fast so you snipe hook it into the bushes.
Then in the bushes you can't even see your guy to watch for the length of swing and duff it into the water
