I have some exploratory questions here, so any help would be appreciated.
I am interested in seeing if I can run a society that would correlate with doing course reviews and blog posts once again, but I'm not 100% sure how this works. Basically, if I want to host events with the courses I've reviewed as a way to highlight them, I have to create a society, right? And each player can only join something like 5-6 societies? So essentially my society would have to compete with other societies in order for those courses to be played in the event?
If I have all of that right, is it even worth creating one? Or should I just stick to blog posts and hopefully folks will play the courses on their own.

Course reviews will be helpful for society admins to help scheduling events. What would be especially helpful is information about fairway width, overall length, and how the course plays from different tee boxes.
Your "What to Play" list was a great resource in TGC1. None of my courses cracked the top-100 but I don't remember seeing many updates throughout 2016-17. Here's hoping it returns with a flourish.
