Oh man, I really feel for KenTremendous Every time he is on the verge of breaking through with his W, a certain someone sweeps in and wrecks the field. Tim, have you considered just using a regular controller like the rest of us in the spirit of fair play? I know you aren't technically breaking any rules, but I've also ready your own thoughts on the issue (which we don't need to go back into), and it just seems like - at least for this "just for fun" society - it would be gentlemanly of you to play on the level with us other stock controller users. Just a thought/suggestion, because your performance in Hershey ( go look at the stats like I did, it's crazy) is kind of pushing people away somewhat - like, what's the point in trying when you will sweep in and win by a fairly wide margin (relative to the dispersion of scores throughout the field) more often than not? I dk, don't want to get back into that whole pissing match, just want to express an opinion that I hope you consider, because I think it would be in the best interests of all of us. Cheers

Yeah I pretty much doubled the field Ian. Just wait till TGCTours starts back up!
Oh, and 0 shots are straight.
Lol you keep telling yourself that bud, surprised taste let you in his club Apparently you didn't see the API.
Pretty boring on PC to be honest. I will probably be back on PS4 soon.

Sure thing Justin. Will make the switch starting today Assuming this is sincere (scary thing to do around here lol) - thanks. I'm sure you will still be at the top of leaderboards more than enough, and hopefully it will be a bit more fun for you to have some more realistic competition in these events.

Might all be a pointless debate. Looking at the titles of the next few days events, it would seem tastegw is shutting this society down after this weekend?

game is not as good as i had hoped.
designer crashes.....unlike tgc1 is keeping me out of that my swing is total garbage since that patch, keeping me from playing rounds (one doesnt just shoot 10 or so strokes worse overnight)
and the rules against fair play here are not going to be worthwhile. i will be sticking around long enough to complete the judging in the summer showdown, but gone after that most likely.

I can't talk about the beta but the game is a joke. There are a ton of bugs to be fixed still and I mean a ton. I keep seeing more and more weird sh%$ pop up in threads too. One with this L2 crap adding strokes. Can't watch replays with the fear of stokes being added. no multiplayer There is no more quality control in games anymore. This game is still a beta and no way it should have been released in the state its in currently. The societies don't show events results anymore. You at least get paid but have to go into results to look. I could go on and on here. I think getting Maximum Games was a bad business decision and I don't care how much money they put in it. It has made an inferior product IMO and the communication back from HB has been pisspoor

Sad to hear that taste but i can empathise.
Looks like a new decent PC society will need to rise from the ashes.

In my opinion, as a stock XB1 controller user, the amount of options out there for PC inputs is just ridiculous, and nothing will ruin this game faster than the controller debate, which I think is a MUCH bigger deal than the "which clubs should everyone use" debate. I have zero input regarding people specifically, I'm never near the top of the leaderboard to even care about who is doing what, but it does irk me quite a bit to know that I struggle like heck in this game and I'm getting beat by people (whoever they might be) that are definitely using different gaming equipment.
Now, the main reason I am responding, since I'm not in this society, is because I'm a Taste fan. So reading the comment above that he may be leaving this game is, IMO, a pretty big tragedy to the community. He's in the designer HOF and it's people like him and many others that make this game so rich to play over, and over, and over again. I REALLY hope HB can get their poop together so that guys like him are not pushed away!!!

The first TGC was a complete mess year1 as well...but they eventually improved a lot of broken aspects. This is our only hope for TGC2...but so far I don't see it. HB was unresponsive and defensive vs the majority of beta feedback which detailed out broken things and key focus areas to fix/improve. We said it wasn't ready for release but here we are...a confused and angry society...with some people who can't even play the game anymore due to crashes and broken mechanics. But now they have our $ so what's the incentive to improve it? The unwillingness to work with Tim and TCGTours also baffled me. Im not experiencing the same level of issues as Taste, but the crashes, random swing/tempo glitches, questionable fairness in competition, and other factors are piling up.

Something exactly like this one would be good Chris! Daily tournies - with a good variation on setup and good courses.
I'm happy to pitch in and help on ad-hoc basis, but can't really commit to being on the hook for it - I'd miss too often because of the way work is.

Well, course suggestions would always be helpful.
In particular suggestions for the home course.
