I don't know what kind of API access TGCT has (if any), but if we could link our profiles (be it PS4, XB1, or PC) and have our scores automatically submitted it would eliminate the silliness of having to "sign a card" (even though that's a part of real golf, I get it) and eliminates that "watchers" problem to some extent - not that I view it as much of a problem but it's a thing and API usage could make everyone's quality of life a little better  |

I hate that players have to self-report scores in golf. It's an outdated antiquated way of keeping score and should be eliminated at the professional level. Lose because you miscounted by a stroke although the entire world can see your score? Stupid.
Lose because you were assessed a penalty a day after you signed your then-correct scorecard which, in turn, resulted in another penalty? Stupid.
I hope pro golf comes to its senses and I hope TGCT moves into the 21st century, considering we're an online community.

This is definitely something we want to do. The hesitation has always been that if the API fails, we could always fall back to the old system of manually validating the submitted scores. However, we've made it 2+ years without issue so I think we're pretty safe.
It's on our list...no promises on ETA.

I wonder how many would leave their ball on the green of the 36th hole just so it doesn't show they missed a precious cut? We had 27 WD from the US Open and a few of those appeared on my scorecard when I was playing. |

Well if they did it on the 36th hole, they'd still get a missed cut since their first round score would be reported.
But we understand the issue of people not registering until after they've played rounds and we may have a possible fix for that too.
